Research Communicators Corner
The Mission for Montana
The fall 2004 AUBER conference was without a doubt successful
on all levels. Each event, speaker, and session was informative
and useful.
A special thanks to all those who planned, presented, and
had any
hand in the Tucson conference.
Now, the question is this: how do you top a conference like
the one in Tucson? The answer is to start planning now to
make the fall 2005 AUBER conference in Missoula, Montana,
even better.
In order to accomplish this great (but not impossible) task,
the planning committee needs input from every AUBER member.
What topics would be helpful to you as a professional and
to your center in general? Should there be more software demonstrations?
Any specific research topics? A particular guest speaker or
presenter? The planning committee has indeed started the preparation
process by discussing the needs of the membership and trying
to build on the momentum of the Tucson conference.
If you have any suggestions or would like to present at the
2005 fall conference, please contact the planning committee
chairs, Jerry Conover (conover@indiana.edu)
or me (scsmith@memphis
.edu). Your assistance is very much wanted and needed.
