Publications Committee Revises Publication Awards Categories

In an ongoing effort to reflect the diversity and evolution of the numerous AUBER units, the Publications Committee, chaired by Ashvin Vibhakar <apvibhakar@ualr.edu>(University of Arkansas at Little Rock) and including Maureen Dunne <mdunne@frc.mass.edu> (Framingham State College), Lee Reynis <lreynis@unm.edu> (University of New Mexico), and Stephen Smith <scsmith@cc.memphis.edu> (The University of Memphis), proposed the following Publication Awards categories:

• Magazines and Journals

• Abstracts and Other Data Publications

• Economic Outlooks

• Special Studies, Technical or Contract Reports

• Newsletters

• Web Sites
  

The AUBER Board of Directors approved these changes, and at the annual AUBER Business Meeting during the Fall 2003 Conference in New Orleans, the changes were accepted. The committee will continue to research how best to showcase the talents and achievements of AUBER.
