Borderplex Long-Term Economic Trends to
2024 Published
The University of Texas at El Paso announces the publication
of the 2005 edition of its primary source of long-term border
business outlook information. Topics covered include detailed
economic projections for El Paso and Las Cruces, plus maquiladora
forecasts for Ciudad Ju‡rez and Ciudad Chihuahua. Forecasts
are generated utilizing the 173-equation UTEP Border Region
Econometric Model. The authors are UTEP Wells Fargo Professor
Tom Fullerton and UTEP Associate Economist Roberto Tinajero.
