AUBER is
the professional association of business and economic research
organizations in public and private universities. Download

Objectives

To further basic and applied research in business, economics,
and related public policy areas.

To promote the availability and improved quality of business,
economic and related public policy information.

To facilitate the management of organizations in academic
settings concerned with research in business, economics,
and related public policy areas.

To promote the organizational efficiency of AUBER.
History
Organizational steps toward the establishment of the Association
were taken at the January 1947 meeting of the American Statistical
Association, American Economic Association, and related associations
held in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The first annual meeting
was held in October 1947 at the Willard Hotel in Washington,
D.C. Since its organization in 1947, AUBER
has expanded to include members representing colleges and universities
in Canada and the United States.
Membership
AUBER welcomes applications for membership from any organized
bureau, division, institute, or center devoted to economic,
business, and/or public policy research that is part of a
university or college. Nonacademic organizations with similar
missions and activities may apply for affiliate membership.
Individuals who share common interests but are not members
of a research organization may apply for individual membership.
